likely 1990s vintage, this 14k yellow gold and jade ring is protection, both literally and figuratively.
the design is stunning: a jade pyramid, subtle filigree work on the sides of the setting, and embossed dragons on the shoulders

in good vintage condition
jade stone is in great condition with some light surface scratching and a few tiny, tiny flea bite chips out of some of the edges (measuring 1mm or less, and only visible when very closely inspected). the stone doesn't come to a sharp point, but it appears to have very tiny facets at the top, so I think this was an original feature, not damage
there are some natural veins running through the jade that meet the stone's surface — when they catch the light they look like cracks, but I don't think they are.
the surface of the gold has light scratching consistent with a ring that's been worn for 25 years
there is space between the embossed portion of the shoulders and a round ring that supports the shoulders. in the 7th photo you can see that on the right side there might be a tiny portion of the embossed shoulder that was kinked/pushed closer to the structural band. this is a very very minor imperfection
